  • Round Cut Peridot

    The database entry has:
    Round Cut Peridot
    AUGMENTATION
    Augmentation Type: 10, 11
    Slot: EAR,NECK,FACE,FINGER,WRIST
    Size: TINY
    Class: NONE
    Race: NONE
This item is not used in any recipes.

Inserted into a Dwerium Trio Pendant and equiped, it has a stat:

    AC: 10

The stats do not show unless equiped. I would confirm this in another
piece of JC, ie ring or ear ring, but the stats stay the same for other
items like the Round Cut Emerald with 100 Mana and 100 Endurance,
so I suspect it is the same on this one.

    Well Spotted.

It is not used in any recipies because it actually is not used in any more tradeskill recipies. Once it becomes "Round Cut" it is no longer able to be changed any further. The gem is now an Aug which is inserted into a ring/earring/necklace/veil/wrist JC Item using an Aug Pool using no skills at all.

Unlike the Radiant Cut Bloodflow Stone or other augs of those kind which can be further advanced using Alchemy/Poison Making.

As to updates on the recipies pages they may want to include a note on each item saying what stats it has on each metal but that would be up to the Database Entry people to work with.

There are some really good guides on this in the JC Guide area and Kyroskrane has set up a spreadsheet for this as well.

I think it would be too much effort to keep track of every single combination of metal, gem, and slot in the database. The two stickies in the JC forum (with the spreadsheet and calculator) do well enough for now.
