Actually, this is not the case... well, not exactly!

The Rabbit Stew which is purchased from vendors in the Luclin expansion weighs 0.1 and is a hearty meal.
However, the Rabbit Stew which is made by tradeskills weighs 0.5 and is a meal.

They have slightly different icons.
The purchased stew comes in a gray pot. How bland!
The tradeskilled version is an individual portion -- served in a bowl, topped with delicious yummy carrots.
