Note - it is arranged as a task. Also, I did not receive any platinum doing it as such.

I had previously mistakenly combined the box before accepting the task, and handing in the box once combined (without the task) worked for faction. I believe I also received money doing it that way, but was not logging it. My apologies.

Hmm, interesting. Anyone have the actual steps of the task from the task window? Also, anyone know if the other high quality ore vendors now offer their quests as tasks?

I do know other ore vendors don't offer a task window for this. I believe the response text also differs in this one from say, the one in Bazaar. I'll get a task next time I need to restock and double check things.

NOTE: Apon saying assistance you are handed 1x Empty Ore Crate. And a task window pops up with the following options:

Large Ore Shipment Unlimited





both tasks have same steps.

Step 1: Fill and seal the Empty Ore Crate
Step 2: Deliver # ( Small or Large ) shipment of High Quality Ore to Smith Gyasi

Note you need to seal the crate before step 2 becoms visible.

Smith Gyasi says 'Thank you ! I will prepare the ore for sale and be open for business again momentarily. Here is your payment for your services.'

If you say willing to help he gives you the box, and on turn in gain a small amount of cash. (I didn't go through it all this time but have recently.)

Anyway, it's not set up like a task.

Just thought you should know that if you ignore the task accept/decline window from Gyasi in CR and just fill the box and hand it back you get rewarded with 14pp and experience. If you accept the task prior to filling the box you get no money but only experience.

Okie dokie, I updated the page a bit but refrained from adding the other vendors' text since it doesn't contribute significantly to people's ability to do the quest, and the task info since it's so minimal. It's nice that it makes you seal the box before it lets you turn it in, though. Maybe we should ask about having all the npcs use only the task, and give you both your money and exp for it!
