This is courry, here is the original posting

My apologies for submitting this to the wrong forum. I am the original submitter of this new research combination.

I wish to submite a new spell, Necro Desolate Undead
I wish to submit what I believe to be a newly discovered research combination. It appears neither in Alla or EQTraders. My humble apologies if this has alreadsy been published.

Level 70 Necromancer Desolate Undead Triv is 404

Components: Arcane Thickener, Fine Runic Vellum, Ink of Pain, Luclin's Ink Additive, Quill of the Arch Lich
    In: Spell Research Kit

I discovered it by comparing the level 68 cleric version of the spell to the level 70 necro spells and decided to make 2 changes. I substituted Quill of the Arch Lich and Fine Runic Vellum. I was successful on the first try.

If this is indeed a first please credit ABLAKE, level 70 Necromancer, a senior officer of the guild Ghosts of Kithicor.

Congratulations to Ablake for the find!

Sure enough, we didn't have this recipe listed but I have now updated the database and the recipe should also be showing on The Serpent's Spine recipe pages. Regrettably, our database doesn't track the discoverer of each recipe, however this post will be stored in our Database Submissions Completed so that people who are really curious about such things will be able to find out our source.

As far as posting to the wrong forum -- posting to the Spell Research forum is in no way 'wrong'. Many players chat there about recipes in progress or recent recipes found, and as you can see... we have some great players that watch out for such things and cross-post them here. This is the right forum to use however if you really want to be sure your new recipe makes it into the database!

Again, Congratulations! I hope all the necromancers of the world celebrate your accomplishment and only play nicely with any corpses you may leave...

        Cheers,
