Dropped from spawned mobs in the Web of Curiosity Task in The Steppes

Dropped from:

assassin spider (light blue to 71)
assassin spider queen (light blue to 71) about 25k hps

Also dropped from "a wasp spider" in the Steppes (non-instanced zone).

I got mine from 'a young wasp spider' in non instanced steppes zone

Item entered and "a wasp spider" and "a young wasp spider" entered as sources.

Lucy lists this as NOT stackable so want to verify that there is only one "wasp spider silk" and not two different items - stackable and non stackable.

I haven't added the two instanced sources yet... holding to find out if it is one or two items.

Verdandi if you want to make a call on this and finish it that's ok but I'm not really sure so leaving it.

The Web of Curiosity task I mentioned is not instanced. It all happens with interaction of an NPC, as you do turn ins - mob spawn in the normal zone.

Not sure how you are reading Lcuy but its stackability (and size) are clearly marked on the initial entry. Stacks to 20.

NM it says on the item page stackable: no - which is a mistake if you look at the raw data. It does in fact stack (to 20 as per the raw data) I farmed about 30 earlier.

Lucy's read of stackability info has been messed up for some time. Use EQItems for stackability; they're much more reliable.
