Verifying Obscure Vendors

I've undertaken a project to revamp our vendor info. As a part of that, I need to verify certain mobs in the game.

The following is a list of vendors in our database that I wasn't able to find. Can anyone verify that they actually exist in game, and that they sell what we say they sell?

Not yet verified:
an apprentice herbalist, Chardok -- Multiple of this mob found, but none are vendors


Found in game:
Bilbis Briar (-4150, 1200) North Karana -- confirmed in game
Maldin the Old, West Karana -- only spawns at night, Carlan the Young spawns during the day at the same spot.
Minya Coldtoes (+847, -1824) West Karana -- confirmed in game; only spawns during the day.
Tugog Grigol, Gukta (in Rathe Mnts) -- "injured" during the Gukta war, lying sick in the new Gukta in Rathe Mountains, no longer a vendor
Sart Scaleroot, West Cabilis -- Renamed Klok Sirus
Sosina, Abysmal Sea -- found, no tradeskill supplies
Vurd Scaleroot (422, 508) West Cabilis -- Renamed Klok Hardscale


Not found in game, in the stated zone:
Roghur Muleson (-25, -490) East Freeport -- Not found in EFP.
Thrack (-290, -450) Neriak Foreign Quarter -- not found. Not in Grobb either
Vicars (-21, 847) Shadow Haven -- not found, used to be in what is now the casino room


If you have time, please see if you can find these vendors in the game. I included the zone and the loc, if we have it, to help you find them. If you find them in the game, please check the items they sell against what we have listed. (On the main site, click on Trade Supplies, then the zone, then scroll down to find the right vendor.) Please post what you find here, and I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Edit: To clarify, these vendors are listed in our database, but I couldn't verify that they actually exist in game. Some of them may have gotten changed or removed, so I want to check they're still live in the game.

Only TS stuff on Minya is How To Sew: Medium Sizes and Small Sewing Kit. Also, there is Carlan the Young (also in WK) that sells a dagger (rest isn't TS stuff). He's around 970, -1870.

I don't think Sosina exists anymore. I had my bard with 200 tracking check Abysmal sea end to end, Sosina never showed up.

Sart Scaleroot, West Cabilis

I looked around Cabilis. No Sart Scaleroot there was however a Klok scaleroot. Klok beeing iksar for merchant.

Maldin the Old @ 972, -1867. In a house by himself near the north-west corner of zone.

Sells various weapons; only TS related items are dagger and fishing pole.

OK, thought it was odd that I gave the same loc for Maldin as Lillanu gave for Carlan so I hung out for a while. The two merchants are on a day/night spawn cycle. They have the same location and sell the same items. Around 7 AM game time, Maldin despawns, and a little while later Carlan spawns. There was a period of time when neither was up.

Also, I noticed that Minya Coldtoes despawned with Maldin but reappeared when Carlan comes up. That must be her coffee break.

i went to that location inside the Pig sticker shop.
There is no vendor there at the excat location. Neither is there a vendor by that name in the foreign quarter find person window.
but at -309, -455 there is a vendor called Kruna ( Ogre/weapons ).

It is possible there could have been a vendor named Thrak there during the troll occupation. But there is no vendor by that name there anymore.

Sosina Mardar is Abysmal Seas cleric spell vender at /loc -50, -196. All she sells are cleric spells. She sells the ones listed plus a ton of others.

Thrack sold rusty weapons so was probably removed from the game, no luck finding him.
