Just wanted to remind you that you can obtain these in another way - collect Odus pearls from the floor of the bay in Odus and turn them in to the cobbler (upstairs in his building) in NQeynos. He only gives a heart about once every 5 times - the reward is usually shards of wood i think. VERY old/original quest.

Yes... and no.

I did research on Allakhazam and tried this myself. There are 2 different item with the same name in the game. The quest offers treant heart that is lore item, not useable in tradeskill and offer faction modifier.

So your friend is right, but wrong treant heart >.<
