In the Beginner's Guide to Smithing by Myrron Lifewarder, in step 7 it states that the Celestial essence is made by combining a celestial solvent and spell research component in a mortar and pestle. Right combine just wrong vessel. In the link provided in same step all the recipies for celestial essence call for a mixing bowl or collapsible mixing bowl. I just wanted to prevent someone else from doing the same thing i did, which is going out and finding a mortar and pestle and trying the combine to no avail....otherwise a great guide so far.
