Master Potter Test

Ok, so before the patch all I needed to make for the master Potter Test was 4 Blue Ceramic bands and 1 (or was it 2) Idol of the Tribunal.

After the Patch these two parts of the quest are changed to:

Create 4 Unfired Crucible of Escape
Create 1 Unfired Idol (for Tribunal)

So I make these, spending time farming heavy clay in Gorge of King Xorbb amongst other things I get quest updates when making them.

But it seems I have no use for these after making them, I still have to turn in the 4 Blue Ceramic bands as well as an Idol of the Tribunal. Although they are no longer part of the creation part of the quest.

Not sure this is intentional.

It looks like the steps were just changed across the board, with credit for having done the previous version applied to the new versions. So if you had completed a step before, you got credit for having completed it after, even if what you had to do was changed. You made it but didn't turn it in, so you have credit for making it but not for turning it in.

So the other items that have unfired steps didn't change to ask for the unfired parts, too?

I just made the 4 Blue Ceramic bands and put the Unfired Idol (for Tribunal) in the kiln and fired it. Didn't get any quest updates making them, but turned them in anyway, and they got accepted, and I did get the Master Pottery Trophy. (scorecard)

It looks like its just a glitch, only the creation part of a begun quest from before the patch got changed in the patch, but the turn in part of the quest still requires the old parts that were needed before the patch. If you can follow that...

wrong idol

i did the same thing i made a golden idol when it actually took a regular one.

the golden idol is what i made at first but it actually takes the cheaper one with the clear mana vial
