Combine a Scale Ore and Gnomish Heat Source in a reinforced jewelry kit to create Prismatic Palladium bar.
Go to Jewelry merchants in Abysmal Sea. Buy a Gnomish Heat Source and Fine Sand in Jewelry kit to create a Glass Disc. I don't currently have the triv available.
Combine Glass Disc and 3 Grinding powders unstacked in jeweler's kit, makes jeweler's len's if memory serves, and again i don't remember the triv and can't look it up right now, but i failed this combine a couple times at 294 skill, and all that happened was a lost grinding powder.
Combine unenchanted silver bar with gnomish heat source in jeweler's kit to form a cup, can't remember the name though.

Combine the jewelers lens and the cup in jewelers kit to create jeweler's eyeglass i believe, again no triv i can remember.

Buy a cutting tool from JC merchants there in Abysmal.

A gem dropped in a PR instance, Prestigase, I used that one.
There are several cuts available, but only cutting tool for square on merchant so that was all I could do.

Put cutting tool, the gem, and jewelers glass in jewelers kit, combine to form the cut gem.

Put the prismatic palladium bar and a mold for a slot, of the right cut, ie i chose ring slot, and since i could only cut square, i did square cut ring mold, combine mold and bar in jewelers kit.

Then combine cut gem, and the item you got from mold combine in jewelers kit to finish the item.

Item I created is this:

Cutting tools

place your vender purchased square cutting tool into your jewel kit by itself and hit the combine to cycle through the various tools; pear, trillion, oval, etc. Its on a ring they told us... and can sometimes be a pain to find right tool~

Updated what I can, which is the recipes for making the Jewelers Glass (names and stats retrieved from EQ Items). I can't add the recipe without the name of the finished product and the mold used to make it. We also need to know which cutting tools turn into which other cutting tools.
