Expert's / Master's Symbols of Terror

I believe that the Expert's and Master's Symbols of Terror do not show any values for DEX and CHA on the database which I believe they do actually have. I compared the Master's Helm Symbol of Terror entry in the database with that of actual item in the Bazaar and found that the DEX of +4 and the CHA of +6 was missing.

I have also checked the database against the Expert's Helm Symbol of Terror which I currently own on one of my toons and found the same ommission.

Unfortunately, I'm having problems connecting to AllaKhazm atm to check the values of all the Symbols of Terror against those shown in the Database (EQ is undergoing an update which probably explains why I can't get onto Alla).

All or almost all of the DoN armor and symbols were changed after we had added them. Getting updates for them all is, um, difficult. I've updated those two helms, but getting the rest done will have to wait until someone gets a chance to do a comprehensive review of them all, unless you want to report more individual ones, which we'd be better able to tackle sooner.

getting item stats

Actually, getting stats on craftable items is usually not that hard these days. Go to the Bazaar and type /buyer, and use the buyer search function to look for the item you're interested in (i.e., as though you want to set up a Buy line for it). You can right click on items in the search results and get the usual item description window. Doesn't help for charms (where the effect is often conditional based on other stuff, like how much cultural armor you're wearing), but I did a search for "symbol of terror" and got all 28. If I find a moment I'll see about transcribing the information here, unless you think it would be less error-prone for you to copy stuff directly from EQ.

One odd think I've observed, though, is that some searches omit many items. E.g., searching for "shadowrise" shows me all the journeyman/expert armor (and the swatch), but is missing the grandmaster greaves, and doesn't list ANY of the master armor. I find myself wondering if that's because master shadowrise is such a pain to make (requires Great Reptile Hides) that nobody makes it, so the bazaar buyer search tool doesn't bother to include it?

Still, for the items that DO appear in the search results, this is a great way to get stats and other details. (Not to mention a useful way to get a link to an item if you want to show it to someone.)

database wrong for High elf also

The stats for the High elf DON master tailored and smithed items are wrong as are the stats for the Tunare master augments. I have already augmented the items and the totals don't match. Next time I make them I will submit the correct for each subomponent.

Again, we realize all of that. The problem is that the time required to do a thorough set of updates manually and individually is considerable. When folks report things, they're given higher priority because we can usually process them quickly.

That said, one of our database folks has been working on updating the DoN armors. Those that aren't done should be getting done soonish, hopefully.

Moving this to Updates Completed since there isn't anything specific mentioned that isn't already in progress.

(Btw, when you search the Bazaar it only turns up items that have been made on your server. If those things aren't appearing it's because no one has made them.)
