Seem Mental Unity combines are broken?

did all combines in a tanaan kiln - I was trying in Kaladim but was trying the mental charm first, with lots of variations. Finally went to POK and tried a different charm and it worked first time. Id say the Symbol Mental Unity is either broken for Master or Expert...or its intended for GM only?

NOTE: Symbol of Mental Unity is for pure casters only. If your race has none of these (or none of some of the other class divisions such as pure melee, hybrid, or priest), you will not be able to make that type of charm.

No, these combines all used 1 unfired charm and 1 bar only. return was 1 charm per combine.

Dwarven charms are singled out in the Charm book as needing only 1 bar as they only have metal recipes (no leather or silk).

Just noticed, on my Baz Mule, that the Expert and Master Charms are listed in the magelo with stats. Im not sure if thats the maximum per symbol..or the only stats available to magelo for completed charms, but it might be worth putting into the database....

I believe the stats reflected in item databases are maxxed out. (The exception might be Magelo, which might adjust charms in a profile based on what the character would actually get...I don't know if they do that or not. Been a while since I looked at the deeper Magelo settings.) For that reason, we've only been using charm stats obtained from item databases. I don't like putting such a preference on item databases over player reports but in this case it seems the only way to save us endless updating as better stats are reported by people with stronger charms.
