Frogs can use a bunch of stuff now.

With frog infestation finally being eradicated from Grobb, lots of them became divinely inspired by Mr. Hate. As a result, it appears that there are new classes opened up for the young tads. There are now Froglok Rogues. As a result, frogs have been added as races to a bunch of stuff. (i pitty you database entry people not).

I just did a quick check on stuff like the Haze Panther armors (see EQItems ) and frogs have been added to all those.

I don't know if there's an easy way for yall to search your database to see a list of all the armors that are rogue usable and not froglok to get a list of items to check. But such a list would make the checking easier.

We appreciate the heads up, but as this is more of a discussion post it belongs in the discussion forums and not here in the data submission forum.

If, however, you have checked some of these items in game and have a list of items and updated stats for them you are more than welcome to post here with that information.

In the future, please keep posts that do not have any solid data for updating in the database/website to the discussion forums where it belongs.

In Verdandi's How To post, she lists lucy as being a reliable source for item info. Since magelo and eqitems seem to get their item info via similar method (data collector program running in background while playing), are they considered valid sources for data?

Hmmm... lucy snuck that 'except' in there on me. I was just looking for FRG in the races that can use them.

I just logged in and checked each of them (via the bazaar's /buyer windos). They are in fact all usable by frogs.

Lucy, and other data collection sites like it, are considered somewhat reliable sources of information. We use them when in game information is not avaliable, and as a double checking mechanism, but we always prefer solid in game information from our posters. Lucy has been known to have innacuracies in it's data. Magelo does not track complete item data (food and drink durations, stackability, etc.). And EQ items I have no idea about as I never have used that site, but I'd probably have similar things to say about it if I had.

If posters wish to submit information from data collection sites we request that they repost the full item information (and not just provide a link). If it's an item that's being updated in our database due to a change (such as spelling changes, name changes, etc) we request also that the poster check the updated date and/or item history to make sure that they are posting the correct information.

I started to go through these and noticed that our stats seem to be quite quite old for these. Can I please get you to give us full stats on all of these items so we can get them updated? Thanks!

I noticed that on all the Gnome Cultural Armor I have that it is now FRG usable. This includes both old BD and new DoN. I suspect that this is a bug, so be cautious before buying any gear thats Gnome & Frog only.
