Eight-Loop Lasso

I'd like to add something to the database that isnt already there for the Eight-Loop Lasso. The trivial for this item is listed at 15 which I believe to be correct. However, a guildmate tried to fashion one of these the other day and was unable to until his raw, unbuffed, fletching skill was 100. Therefore, in order to even attempt to make an Eight-Loop Lasso one must have a fletching skill no lower then 100.

A quick addendum to my post above.
In order to attempt to make Fibrous Rope (Smithy Hammer + Golanda Nut), which is needed to make the Eight-Loop Lasso, one must have a raw fletching skill of no lower then 100. If your skill is lower you will get a message such as, "you lack the skill to fashion this item".

You're saying you must have a minimum skill of 100 to even attempt the Lasso combine? I have updated this in the database, but I would still like confirmation, just to be sure.

And you need the same minimum skill to attempt the Fibrous Rope? The message you reported is very close to the normal fail message that you get. I have not yet updated this in the database.

Oh, and did your friend have a Geerlock or similar skill-modifying item equipped when he attempted the combines? Did he test this at a modified skill of 100? (Like, say, skill 96 or so with a geerlok equipped.)

Kyroskane, this is an epic 1.5/2.0 combine. I believe all of those do have a required raw skill to attempt the tradeskill combines.

Sorry my message was a bit vague. In order to make fibrous rope you need a raw fletching skill of 100, my friend tried it with a geerlock and could not get the ingrediants to combine until he reached a displayed skill of 100. I believe the final combine to make the Eight-Loop Lasso (8 fibrous ropes in a flechting kit) also requires 100 skill but am not totally sure since it cannot be tested due to the fibrous rope being no trade. Hope this helps.
