When you do the turn ins for the first section of the quest, you must hand in the two unstacked rotting orc teeth, then the orc ribcage. If you do both at once, then the ribcage is returned to you.

Then next two steps on the quest are:

3. Visit the Chessboard in Timourous Deep
4. Visit the Drolvarg near the statue of the headless Iksar
5. ??????? (I will update as I get there)

I'm confused. Right now we have:

Task Details
Crushbone: Kill 20 legionnaires
Crushbone: Loot 2 Rotting Orc Tooth
Ak'Anon: Deliver 2 Rotting Orc Tooth to Vidi Cogsworthy
Crushbone: Kill 10 orc emissaries
Crushbone: Loot 1 Orc Ribcage
Ak'Anon: Deliver 1 Orc Ribcage to Vidi Cogsworthy

Are you saying that those two steps above should come after, like so:

Timorous Deep: Visit the Chessboard
Timorous Deep: Visit the Drolvarg near the statue of the headless Iksar

Would you be willing to write out exactly what your Task window shows? With only a couple tweaks, I'm trying to format things exactly as they are in the Task window. Additional details like /locs and descriptive info I'm putting in "Tips" sections. Seeing exactly how it appears in game would also help me figure out how this all goes together.

My mistake, I had a task and tradeskill quest going at the same time.

However, Lord Darish drops the Orc ribcage and that will be accepted as a turn in. You still need to loot one from an emissary.

That's a known issue. Named mobs don't have the right key words in their names, so you don't get the credit. Oshran has said that's something they'd like to fix but may or may not be able to (if I remember correctly).
