Barbarian Cultural Recipe Discovery

I would like to avoid doing so and I still need to personally confirm the discovery as you have outlined, but then I have been working through some DNC issues with the EQT listed Old World recipes I printed.

The various armor smithing combines may use Patchwork/Tattered NOT store bought Leathers armor pieces as their base.

A few current confirmations were given on EQLive's Artisan Way message thread I started, but the glaring difference of possible success or DNC was the recipe.

Taven, we need specific names and recipes that are confirmed as working in order to add them to the database. We're not going to add all those new recipes without confirmation. To share this discovery with the community in general, this needs to be posted in the Smithing forum. We'll leave it here for a few days in the hopes you see this reply.

Various attempts were made to confirm and each combine returned [RED]DNC[/RED]

Imbued Northman Ring Bracer
Imbued [Green]Jade[/green] + Frost Temper + Large Chainmail bracelet pattern + Large leather or Large Tattered wristbands + MQ metal ring + Smithy Hammer
without & with water flask added.

Artificer's Bracer
Imbued [Green]Jade[/green] + Frost Temper + Large Chainmail bracelet pattern + Large Tattered or Large Leather wristbands + 1-3 infused MQ metal ring(s) + Smithy Hammer
without & with water flask added.

So no UPDATE yet - I will continue the investigation thread on Smithing topic.

The DB does show Artificer's using the Tattered/Patchwork and non-Artificer's with or without Imbunes using storebought Leathers. My posting here was not meant to jump to a false conclusion, but more an Alert that something was Broken now with the Cultural "Jade' Recipes as it seams "Ivory" is working as expected.

Okay. If you find something that is either broken as it is in our database, or is that has alternate recipes we're missing, please let us know in the Data Update Submissions forum. In the meantime I'll close this and move it to Updates Completed, and you can discuss with others in Smithing.

I can at least confirm that all of the "old" barbarian cultural recipes were at least at one time working as we have them, as I've confirmed every one of them myself. I didn't try any alternates.
