Inside Shar Vahl, open Find and look for the Tradeskills Quest guy Vuro Padfoot. He is close to the entrance from Shadeweavers. He offers you the knowledge of the Ancestral Vah Shir Armor pattern book and the 4 tasks you must complete to gain the symbol pattern books.
The Ancestral Vah Shir Armor pattern book requires the following 4 items:
1 Shadeling Silk (drops from worms in Shadeweavers)
1 Glowing Heart Stone ( drops off Glowing Muck Digger in Paludal Caverns)
1 Cracked Rhino Beetle Carapace (drops off the bigger beetles in Shadeweaver)
1 Damaged Hopper Hide (drops off random hoppers)
Hand to Vuro Padfoot to recieve the book. Be aware the book can only be used a certain number of times before it must be replaced.
Task 1 - Paludal Caverns (Vuro's Cavern Adventure)
The owlbear cave he sends you too is easiest to get to from Shadeweaver, and its at the end of the hall between the 2 fiend lakes, loc is roughly -2000, -370. There you must kill 20 owlbears and loot 4 Damaged Owlbear Pelt. It should be noted the kills and the pelts MUST come from the room or they do not count.
Return the pelts to Vuro in Shar Vahl and he sends you to the Recondite camps. The one you want is commonly called B1 or the one at the end of the tunnel from Shadow Haven, you have to walk towards where Yelloweyes usually stands to get the next objective - kill 10 Recondites and loot 1 Recondite Insignia Ring. Return Ring to Vuro to gain the Journeyman's Book of Vah Shir Culture.
Task 2 - Dawnshroud Peaks (Vuro's Feast)
The pond is easy to find, only one in the NW. You then get the tasks kill 50 wolves and loot 4 Tattered Wolf Pelt. This takes quite awhile as there are only a few wolves in the whole zone, having a tracker might help this go faster. Return the pelts to Vuro to get the task, explore the small camp SW of Netherbain Lair. Again this is fairly straight forward to find, as it is almost exactly SW from Netherbian. You are then required to kill 5 Stonegrabbers and loot 1 Stonegrabber Boulder. Return to Vuro for the Expert's Book of Vah Shir Culture.
Task 3 - The Grey (Supplies of Vuro)
First task here is to kill 40 shimmering rockfiends and loot 4 Shiny Granite Chip. As I am still working on this i will update with results at a later time.
Task 4 - Stillmoon Temple
The fourth task seems to be level restricted as i was unable to recieve it at all at 66.
