Updating all the Newbie armor quest?

I have been on EQ now for 9 months, and I have worked on some of the posted newbie armor quest to give my toons all the help they can get at the start of playing them. Rescently I been working on the Human Surefall Ranger newbie armor quest and I found errors in it, one is the newbie sword, when I presented the required head to the Guildmaster he give me a sword, but I had to do more after the fact, which was not mention in the newbie quest information, and to this date I not been able to get the sword, for what the guildmaster has asked could not be completed, I have sent to EQ to let them know of the error, but putting some of the armor together I have found that it does take the what is posted on this site, I like to see if we can update all the newbie armor quest for new folks who come here to get these quest and work on them.

I have to admit that the newbie armor quests have not been a priority for us, especially when new expansions come out. The work involved with updating the main tradeskill database at the moment is to say the least enormous.

Where you have found errors in the quest write ups, please post the corrections here. We rely on our users to tell us when we are in error. I cannot say how prompty we will apply any quest corrections, but I can tell you that they will be corrected eventually.

So, if the Ranger write up is wrong, please tell use what corrections are required.

We do plan to eventually get the newbie quests completed and updated. There are some excellent writeups languishing in this forum because we (okay, I) haven't yet been able to tackle them. We are volunteers, after all, and are doing the best we can. But we'll get to them!

In the meantime you could check the forum here and see if an updated version has been posted. If not, we'll gladly take all updates and save them here until we can apply them.

It would be helpful if you were more specific. I have done Newbie quests on a variety of characters in different races and classes and found the information here VERY accurate. I will take an open slot and make a Human Ranger, and see what the problems are exactly. If you kept any written notes, refer to them and let everyone know what the exact problem is.
