now after making all that you would think

would combine but they don't.
Changing the number of swatches and the patters didn't help

Perhaps it isnt supposed to be HQ thread, but instead normal thread.

TRM, did you try the second version with a normal quality, rather than high quality? (Im not sure (personally) if there is a normal quality, but that is what my guildmates told me, they say not to use the hq, but instead use the normal)

Looks like you are using the pattern for the symbols. The symbol patterns will have a level descriptor with it (journeyman, expert..etc) The patterns you need are the ones that say "pattern for Human gloves"

Try the following Recipie:

1 pattern for Human gloves
1 hq cat pelt

If I'm reading things correctly, Rwauld suggested you use "Pattern for Human Gloves" instead, as the "1 expert glove patter" listed sounded likely to be "Expert's Glove Symbol Pattern" which is for making the symbol, not for making the armor (at least that was one of his points, from Rwauld's first post in this thread).

No he means the post that I originally replied to, he's been trying to make them for a while now. That was one of the first 3 or 4 combines he tried.

gah ok it is the Pattern for Human Gloves for the human combines.
Might of help a little bit if someone would of said that came from the frist TS book and not the exp one.
