A letter to My Friends
As you know I've been working in this newly discovered land. Who would have thought that we had a huge nest of dragons living so close to us all this time and we never knew it? I'm somewhat embarrassed as a hunter and a skilled tracker that I've never seen any evidence of such things. Though I suppose it is hard to track a dragon if it never lands, and tracking over lava rocks is unpleasant and difficult.
Enough with the excuses, I have some useful information for you.
I've discovered that the drakes and dragons around here have some great bones for arrows. Their wing bones are light, straight and strong. The drake wing bones are just about the right length, but the dragon wing bones are too big at first. You'll have to cut them down in your fletching kit. And you know those drake tail or fin spikes? Fantastic arrowheads! Again, you'll have to trim the larger dragon fins spikes, but you'll get a lot from each bone.
I hope all of you are well. I'm sorry that I couldn't address you individually, but I only had enough time to drop this off with a scribe with a list of names. He'll copy them and make sure you each get one. I've got to get back to the new lands, there's just too much going on there and I don't want to miss anything.
