(Allakhazam listed other drops for this from Wakening Land - A Suit of Sentient Armor, Korzak Stonehammer. Cobalt Scar - A Haunted Seachest, A Siren Enchantress. Have only confirmed drops from Rapticor and A Geonid Shaman.)

Couldn't find the item when I searched database and hope it's ok to post on the DoN boards even though it's a Velious item.

i can also confirm drop from Sentient suit type mobs in wakening lands, got 2 in just over 80 kills

Crushed diamond dust drops off any velious mob that can drop crushed velious quest gems. Best shot is vendor farming in PoK, Thurg and Othmirs.

For the Erudite's Master's level symbol patterns, we were asked to go to Siren's Grotto and kill 80 Bulthar and loot 40 Bulthar Trunks. In the time it took me to collect 40 Bulthar Trunks, I killed over 200 Bulthar and roughly 100 non-Bulthar. In the time it took me to kill 300 mobs in Siren's Grotto, I looted 8 Crushed Diamond Dust. I can personally confirm from my logs that it can drop from "An Enthralled Bulthar", "An Enthralled Molkor", and several different Sirens. From the data I have it appears to drop on average from one mob in about thirty-five.

I did my gazzillion bulthars in SG and got 0 crushed diamond dust. 1 in 35 is far from correct. It is completely and totally random. I do not know how many I killed but at 80 kills I had 27 trunks.
