Question, where did you find the needle and sewing kit. if they're made, where is the recipe to make them.

Currently I am stumped on smithing part and dont want to be stumped on tailoring as well.

needle = thunder essense + embroidering needle (any forge)
half elf sewing kit = small brick of rilsteel, needle/thimble mold, water flask (trival 162) in half elf forge.

              HINTS and Spoiler

By now you have heard that Vor in Qeynos is the primary contact to get started. Get the Basic/General Book from him and whichever level of Quest/Task assignment for the Book of Patterns. Point of Confusion: BOTH of these Books will produce a Pack of Patterns; one is a set of Armor Patterns for Smithing and Tailoring while the other produces a Pack of Symbol Patterns (ie the Augmentations).
You will need to find Nerrisa Clothspinner nearby the JC Shop around the corner from Vor. She has lots of things that you will need to spend plat on

              Next: Symbol Creation
Buy some Blessed Water of Tunare and combine, in JC Kit, with
(Based upon level: Journeyman, Master, Expert, GrandMstr)
              J-Jade Shard M-Lambent Stone E-Crushed Diamond Dust GM-Purescale Ore
Now toss that new Water into a forge with
J-Warbone Chips M- Fire Opal E-Shissar Scales GM-Metallic Drake Scales
              Congrats, one Augmentation

              Journeyman stuff
Go collect some Medium Quality Cat Pelts (the red ones)
Go Fish ....in the Karanas. You are looking for a Thunder Salmon
Find an Embroidery Needle (CEssence, Metal Bits, Water & Needle Mold)
Buy a Needle Mold, Thimble Mold, small Brick of Ristell, Water

Brew one Thunder Salmon with one Water: Thunder Essence
Zone into the other Qeynos and look behind the Bard Shop for a forge and:
Toss the Thunder Essence and the Embroidery Needle into the Forge and
              PRESTO Norratian Needle
(hmm, that one can be done at any forge, but since you were headed there anyways...)

Do you have a clear spot in your Inventory? Good
Into the Forge with the Two molds, the Ristell brick and a water, combine,
and you should have a ----HALF ELF SEWING KIT----

Never thought I would see the day. /sigh

              Let's use it now:

              Medium Quality Cat Pelt
              Small Spool of Rilsteel Thread
              Norathian Needle

              Journeyman's Runeseeker Swatch
              Large Spool of Rilsteel Thread
              Pattern for Half Elf Wristguards
              Norathian needle

              Congrats

Now, unless you have plat to burn, these are far too expensive to Skill Up on, so go destroy the Pack of Patterns (not the Symbol Patterns though) and go try the next Quest/Task

really really tired, just realized that I presumed that whoever would be reading this had already read the other related materials

                Things to watch out for:
Nerissa sells various Vellum Rolls(by level of skill J, M, E, Gm)
                Nerissa sells Parchment

You need Parchment for Patterns and the Vellum for Symbol Patterns

I also stated: "(not the Symbol Patterns though)"
Do you being to understand how brain dead and tired I am?

OK, all the item stats and trivials updated. Thankee for the submission.

I want to remind everyone that this forum is only for direct submissions, not discussion. If you'd like to submit a general guide on how to do the cultural armor, please post in the Tradekill Guides forum.
