Tyr
Text of dialogue:
Tar Cordell says 'Hello Tyrelius. What brings you back 'ere? Wanted to be 'round yer own [kind] again?'
Tar Cordell says 'Aye. A lot of us 'ave returned 'ome these past few months. Seems distrust is brewing among them other races. Now, I don't want to be accused of bigotry, some of those other kind are okay--dwarves and elves are pretty reliable--but the rest . . . you can't trust 'em. Like them blasted dark elves always plotting something. And those lizard things . . . don't even get me started with those. Folks don't feel safe out there anymore so they're coming back to the cities for protection. Why do you think I came back to 'ere! To be 'round more 'umans, folks I can [trust]!'
Tar Cordell says 'Aye, you know what I mean. We need to stick together, form a unified front and let our enemies know we mean business. In fact, right now I'm making armor for the city militia. Hmm, you look like you'd be good in a fight. Perhaps you'd be interested in these armor designs. I can share my pattern [book] or even my armor [patterns] with you provided you don't go blabbing my trade secrets to no dark elves. Can't trust those kind!'
Tar Cordell says 'Excellent, I can make you a pattern book, but first I'm gonna need some materials. Bring me a fire beetle carapace for the cover, a patch of zombie skin for the pages, a golden bandit tooth for the clasp, and a lion tail to grind down and make a salve which will protect and preserve the finished product. I hear these resources can be found in Western Karana. Once I have these things, I can create the pattern book for ya.'
Tar Cordell says 'Aye, I can give you these patterns provided you can help me with some missions for Qeynos. What do ya say? Can you help ol' Tar out? I need someone to spearhead expeditions to [Erud's Crossing], [Kedge Keep], the [Dragon Necropolis] or, if you've got the metal for it, the [valley] on the other side of the lavastorm mountains. I can reward you with some armor patterns for yer efforts. You know the drill. The more the danger, the more the reward! Choose wisely, now.'
Tar Cordell says 'Ha ha! I knew I could count on ya! Seems our ocean trade routes are in trouble again, my friend. I need ya' to travel over to Erud's Crossing and kill twenty o' dem sharks. That should clear the way a bit for our sailors! Bring me four lake pebbles from their stomachs as proof of your kills. Not that I don't trust ya, I just need something to show the boys when I let 'em know the way is clear.'
Tar Cordell says 'Hello Tyrelius. What brings you back 'ere? Wanted to be 'round yer own [kind] again?'
Tar Cordell says 'Aye, well done, my friend! As promised, 'ere is the pattern book. It may take some practice to get a 'ang of these designs, but they should serve you well. Don't forget about us if a war breaks out. I want you up on those city walls with me, aye!'
