Also produces the Expert's Book of Iksar Culture, unknown if it's worn or a 'new' item, and the quill.

If someone finds some info out on what materials we Iksar need, I'll go out, try to get some, and give some combines a shot... at least for the Expert level ones... I should have probably skipped right to the Sebilis task, but no guildies were interested...

by the way, this made the "tailoring" molds... this book didn't describe how to make any particular "smithing" molds... probably should have tested some smithing armor mold combines, considering I'm a Blacksmith and not a Tailor... oh well

Half-elf quest giver

The half-elf quest NPC is in Qeynos. Don't remember his name, but when you enter the gate, go past the guard post, then turn right, and he'll be right there, on the way to Crow's.

When he gives the initial book quest, one of the things he asks for is "a patch of zombie skin"- it turns out that this is just regular zombie skin, so you can get it off any zombie anywhere. In fact, it looks to me as though all of the items for the initial quest can come from anywhere (even vendors), except for the lion tail, which is nodrop. Mercifully, that dropped off the first lion (well, okay, lioness) I killed.

Now I just gotta go thru my inventory and clean it up to make room for molds.

I finished the highelf book quest in lower guk yesterday. Perhaps the bug is that you have to loot the powder from a ghoul knight, not just any ghoul. BTW, only the ghoul knights deep in the dungeon (down near safe hall) drop the powder. The wan ghoul knights up by the entrance don't drop it.

After returning 4 phosphorous powder to Elistar Vorann, you are asked to kill 5 ghoul wizards and loot an undead froglok tongue and bring it back. The tongue has to come from a ghoul wizard, looting it from a ghoul knight doesn't work.

A note on the second book for High Elves(Expert):
For the Phosphorous Powder to update, I had to kill all 50 ghouls first. After that, the task updated whenever I looted the powder, no matter what the mob was.
