In http://mboards.eqtraders.com/eq/showthread.php?t=19689, there was a question of which bars dropped, and from what mobs. I searched through my logs, and have had both silver and electrum bars drop off muddite minors and elders. That is, I have had minors drop silver, minors drop electrum, elders drop silver, and elders drop electrum. I have yet to see a gold bar drop in the Gorge.
As indicated in the thread, it's not a practical source of silver or electrum bars, but they do drop there. I might get one bar in the time it takes me to get a stack of heavy clay.
