I can also verify this drop. I sold mine to a merchant before I realised that it wasn't in the data base. However, it means that I can tell you that the merchant paid me 5.238PP for it. I'd always planned on going back to Lower Guk to get another one to do this combine myself, the trouble is Lower Guk has never really been on my travel plans...
