First, an introduction to magician spell research. The recipes for the level 16 through level 49 magician spells are listed in four books which are available at certain merchants. As my magician is a gnome, I went to Ak'Anon to purchase the four books, took screenshots of all the pages in each book, then made all the spells listed in the books with a few exceptions noted below.
There are some inconsistencies in the names used in the recipes and the name on the spells. For example, the recipe for the level 16 fire pet spell, Spell: Minor Summoning: Fire is listed in the book as Minor Summoning Flame. I will not bother to list any others, but will use the name that appears on the spell scroll, which is how it is listed in the EQTraders database.
Also, be careful to get the right entry when making the updates. I used the full name and noted the level of the spell in my corrections. It is easy to get thrown off with the names being so similar, with the prefix being Minor, Lesser, Greater, or no prefix at all. After going over it, you get a bit numb to the name differences, and I checked, double checked, triple checked that I got all the names correct. Here is a table of the base names for the spells.

Book: Malagil's Compendium Vol. 1
Lists recipes for level 16 spells. I have made all the spells listed in this book except for Summon Heatstone. I am not convinced that the Summon Heatstone recipe is valid. The spell is available on certain merchants. The recipe in the book lists "Summon Element Scroll" as one of the ingredients, but the recipe here on EQTraders lists the ingredient as "Scroll of Element". I searched for "Summon Element" and "Scroll of Element" on Allakhazam's website, but neither were found. Perhaps putting a note on the recipe is in order.
--------------------------------
Book: Malagil's Compendium Vol. 2
Lists recipes for level 20 spells, level 24 spells and level 29 spells. I have made all the spells listed in this book.
Level 24 spells:
You have a recipe for Spell: Summoning: Earth, which is a level 24 spell, but there is no recipe in the book for this spell. Also, the recipe is DNC. I believe that there is no recipe for this spell, and that it should be deleted from the database. This spell is available from a merchant.
The trivial for Spell: Summoning: Fire is 62, the database lists the trivial as 60<x<=62.
The trivial for Spell: Summoning: Water is 62, the database lists the trivial as 54<x<=62.
Level 29 spells:
The trivial for Spell: Greater Summoning: Earth is 95, the database lists the trivial as 92<x<=95.
The trivial for Spell: Greater Summoning: Fire is 95, the database lists the trivial as 91<x<=95.
The trivial for Spell: Greater Summoning: Water is 95, the database lists the trivial as 93<x<=95
--------------------------------
Book: Telryd's Writ
Lists recipes for level 34 spells and level 39 spells. This book also has an error in that the first line of the book is missing which is the recipe for making Nullify Magic. The recipe is missing the name of the spell it makes, but lists the ingredients. I have made all the spells listed in this book.
Level 34 spells:
The trivial for Spell: Minor Conjuration: Air is 122, the database lists the trivial as 119<x<=122.
The trivial for Spell: Nullify Magic is 122, the database lists the trivial as 120<x<=122.
--------------------------------
Book: Telryd's Expansive Writ
Listes recipes for level 44 spells and level 49 spells. This book also has an error in that the recipe for the level 49 water pet spell lists as the base spell, the level 44 fire pet spell. The recipe in the EQTraders database is correct. I have made all the spells in this book.
You have a recipe listed for Spell: Conjuration: Fire, which is a level 44 spell, but there is no recipe in the book for this spell. Also, the recipe is DNC. I believe that there is no recipe for this spell, and that it should be deleted from the database. This spell is available from a merchant. The recipe in the database calls for a base spell of Minor Conjuration: Fire, but if the recipe were valid, it would be a base spell of Lesser Conjuration: Fire. In the interest of being complete, I tried both variants of the recipe, and both were DNC.
There are some inconsistencies in the names used in the recipes and the name on the spells. For example, the recipe for the level 16 fire pet spell, Spell: Minor Summoning: Fire is listed in the book as Minor Summoning Flame.
