Recipe for Spell: Project Lightning, Rune of Fulguration + Rune of Periphery combined in a Lexicon, is giving me a DNC. I have not tested this in a Sorcerer's Lexicon, just the regular one.

I may be wrong...been a while since I toyed with research, but weren't there more than one kind of rune of fulguration? I remember it messing me up and only figuring out they were different when I couldn't stack them.Grenoble

Yeah, there are two types of rune of fulgration. And unfortunately, no way to tell them apart by just looking. I keep them when I loot them, and buy them off vendors whenever I see them. The only thing I've noticed is that one type won't stack with the other. I keep a useless one around just to help with that. If the new one I pick up won't stack with the useless one, then I know I can actually use it.Comment

I seem to remember vaguely that there is only one rune of fulguration in the game at the moment. The issue of there being two types was fixed I think. I could be wrong though.Comment

Ok, from the posts on here I went ahead and confirmed what everyone else has noted. There are two types of "Rune of Fulguration". Luckily, someone was selling the one for Project Lightning in the bazaar and I succeeded the combine. So, I guess this is more of a beware that, if you buy your rune in the bazaar, whether or not they have stopped the incorrect rune from dropping, there still exist some of the old and uncombinable ones.
That being said, is there a possibility that we can get a note on the item that two undistinguishable runes of fulguration exist?Shrouded
