Lots of info here but I think this thread is completely entered now.

I have a lazy and not very wise paladin who I was able to convince to head to Hollowshade to hunt down some salts to try to make some ice cream...

He eventually (after an hour) collected 10 salts and was able to make 10 ice creams of various types (see below).

But (as I said) he ain't very wise, in fact his Baking skill was (and is) ZERO - but despite this he did not fail with any combine with the churn - nor did he get any skill ups. These two facts lead me to conclude that (at present) using the ice cream churn is a NO FAIL combine. Whether this is "operating as intended" or not remains to be seen.

Have a query in to the devs on several things regarding ice cream (edible floats, no interface on the churn, identical snack/stats for all, etc.) and will wait on a decision on setting all the appropriate recipes to no fail until I hear if some of this is intended or nor.
