Ok, I believe the different jum jums would be from different sources then. Would anybody mind getting some of these in game, casting identify on them, and letting us know about them?

My guess would be that "Item Lore Nillipuss' Jumjum" would be the Nillipuss dropped jumjum, "Item Lore Stolen Jumjum Stalk" would be the ground spawn, and the other one would be the vendor sold one.

I dont' remember back to when mtp's came out if the nilipuss jumjum etc worked with all the jum jum recipes or not, so if you do check these for the item lore tags please let me know if they'll work in the recipes (ground spawn and mob dropped). I do know for sure that the vendor sold (at least in shadow haven) works for the recipes.

The grond spawn isnt lore, I have several. They even stack.

Ooops! Sorry for the confusion. "Item lore" means the text that comes up if you cast identify on the item in question.

This is all done being updated with the exception of someone finding the ground spawn and the mob drop and double checking which one has which lore.

One problem (kinda) is that Nillipus drops both of the non-vendor jumjums at times. The "stolen jumjum stalk" is the ground spawn though, and the "Nillipus' jumjum" is what the quest for the wr bag and stuff wants.

Ok, so nillipus drops both Nillipus' jumjum and stolen jumjum stalk? And the groundspawn is always stolen jumjum stalk?

Just want to make sure I'm totally clear before I add nilipus as a source for the stolen jumjum stalk.

The tradeskill UI lists 3 recipes each for Jumjum Cake and Jumjum Spice Beer:

Jumjum Cake
Jumjum Cake (Nillipuss' Jumjum)
Jumjum Cake (Stolen Jumjum)

Jumjum Spiced Beer
Jumjum Spiced Beer (Nillipuss' Jumjum)
Jumjum Spiced Beer (Stolen Jumjum)

The script for Nillipuss is that he spawns, walks to jumjum field, steals jumjum stalks, walks away. Whether you kill him *before* or *after* he reaches jumjum field and steals jumjum stalks will determine what his corpse will have. So he can drop both Nillipuss Jumjum and Stolen Jumjum.

Ok, I just went to pick up the ground spawn Jumjum Stalk in Rivervale:
Item Lore: Stolen Jumjum Stalk

There is only one ground spawn in the Jumjum field. If that is what "ground spawn" is referring to, then that's the one Nillipuss is scripted to steal.

Just now, I waited till Nillipuss picked up the Jumjum "ground spawn" in the Jumjum field before I killed him. The two Jumjum stalks from his corpse read:
Item Lore: Nillipuss' Jumjum.

I am unable to reproduce Nillipuss' corpse having a Stolen Jumjum atm.

Ok, thank you for doing so much work on the source verification. It's deeply appreciated. If you do ever loot a stolen jumjum stalk from nillipus, let me know and I'll change the source, but for now I'll assume that he only drops nillipus' jumjum. If it was long enough ago btw that you found both kinds on him it could have been because someone handed him the ground spawn version, back when npc's wouldn't return non quest items.
