The Shade Figurine Sketch (EQ item ID 7271) is received from Lathin Firetree in Katta Castellum during the Vampyre Troubles quest.

To quote him:

Lathin Firetree says 'Phenic wishes me to summon the Shade that is the owner of this belt for questioning. That is quite a dangerous request but it is not uncommon of Phenic to be a risk taker when it comes to his plots against the Coterie of the Eternal Night. Take this sketch and find a skilled potter to craft you a likeness of a shade from a large block of clay as a focus item for the ritual. When you have the unfired figurine fire it in a kiln with this special glaze on a High Quality Firing Sheet and return to me.'

You receive the Conlegium Enchanted Glaze (EQ item ID 7272) at the same time.

Place the Shade Figurine Sketch and a Large Block of Clay in a potters wheel to craft an Unfired Shade Summoning Figurine (EQ item ID 7274). This may require a water flask as well - I'm not sure. Trivial reported on Allakhazam as > 250, and you get the sketch back if you fail.

Combine the Unfired Shade Summoning Figurine with a High Quality Firing Sheet and the Conlegium Enchanted Glaze in a kiln to craft a Shade Summoning Figurine (EQ item ID 7273). Give this figurine to Lathin to continue with the quest.
