  • ethereal rings no longer need 220

I have made some ethereal rings today, without my geerlok in hand, with 212 smithing skill. So 220 skill is no longer needed as stated with the item.
Im on antonius Bayle, always willing to rezz for 96 % . Donations are always welcome, so i can tradeskill some more )

    Nope

Think you need the check out the following post and see why you can make the sheets at 212 with a 5% device in your hand.

I have not (actually, can't, see sig ) checked myself but notice he said that he made it "without" a geerlok in hand.

Well my smithing skill is 217. So, I attempted a combine of the Ethereal Metal Rings and the Ethereal Sheet of Metal. Unless I had my Geerlok equiped such that my adjusted smithing skill exceeded 220 I got the following message:

"You are too inexperienced in your craft to even consider attempting this combination".

Neither of these items I had made before so I had done with the experimentation version of the forge. It just MAY let me do the combines without Geerlok now that I have learnt the reciepe but I admit that I didn't think to try.

I found the same when using the new UI to do it.. you need to have the recipe memmed tho so in essence you still need the 5% geerlok to mem it in the first place
