Permafrost Keep pelts

In the bear pits of Permafrost Keep you can obtain Giant Polar Bear Skins from A Giant Polar Bear and Giant Dire Wolf Skins from A Giant Dire Wolf. The former is mistakenly listed as dropping in Everfrost (no giant polar bears there), the latter isn't in the EQTraders database at all.

Both of these pelts have four recipes at minimum, as each one can be used in making Poison Vials, Lined Poison Vials, Sealed Poison Vials and Advanced Poison Vials. The Advanced recipes are automatically learned, while the other three are learnable but must be made successfully first.

(Thing is, all eight of these recipes are mistakenly labeled in the trade UI; the one using polar bear skin lists as Giant Dire Wolf Skin, the one using the dire wolf skin lists as Puma Skin, each on all four types of vial. There are about four other types like this that I've seen as well.)

Added the items, mobs and sources... put a note on the Giant Polar Bear being "unseen" in Everfrost Peaks... but left as a source.

I have yet to add the Poison Vial Recipes using these two.

The polar bears in Everfrost do exist - they are in Miragul's cave. I know I have seen, and killed, them there (although I don't remember anything about drops). They are very rare to find - the explanation I've heard is that they spawn only on server up, and never respawn.

Miragul's Cave? as in an LDoN Instance?

Oh, sorry, I guess that would be confusing now with LDoN.

I ment the caves in the northern part of Everfrost Peaks, accessed by going through the holes in the ice and swimming to an underwater entrance to the (dry) caves. The Lich of Miragul, a number of icebone skeletons, a goblin or two, a human necro, and extremely rarely giant polar bears spawn in that cave system.
