Surefall Sap/Surefall Tannin/Vital Essence

I note in your recipe for Vital Essence the following:
Notes: Aug 6, 2003 Patch had this recipe producing Surefall Tannin for Karana Fletching Recipes. Patch Aug 26, 2003 fixed this recipe

This appears to be the case again. I tried a search of the forums for mention of this, and did not find it. Just wanted to let you know it appears once again to be making surefall tannin and not making Vital essence when combining surefall sap & flask of water. This is current as of 1/24/04 930am PST

OK.. what happened is they introduced a new recipe - Surefall Tannin that toke a Water Flask and Surefall Sap. The problem was this recipe was already in use to make Vital Essence. The new recipe over-wrote the old, and you couldn't make Vital Essence.

I applied the note at that that. The Aug 26, 2003 fixed this by changing the Surefall Tannin to use a Pod of Water instead of a Water Flask. I corrected the recipe in the database... but did not remove the note on the Vital Essence.

Fixed now.

I know for a fact that surefall sap and water flask makes the surefall tannin. I just spent a bunch of money buying surefall sap to make vital essence this morning, and it produced surefall tannin when combined with a flask of water. Your vital essence recipe still says surefall sap + water flask = vital essence.
I am going to double check the other recipe with the pods of water right now

Just checked, I must have been bugged this AM because I made a dozen tannins this AM when I was trying for the Vital essence.
I am Barb Warrior, so I have no foraging, and did not have any Pods of water. But I just confirmed what you said.
Surefall Sap+Water Flask=Vital Essence
Surefall Sap+Pod Of Water=Surefall Tannin.
