I take it you tested these each at 135 and they were -NOT- trivial there, and were trivial at 136, right?

Yes, though costly. Tried at 134, 135, and 136. I basically skilled up on them. Once I hit 136 it read cannot gain anymore.

I was working on smithing and making a platinum chain set in the process (just cause it's cool to think I'm wearing money litteraly), so while looking at your database in advance, I thought I'd do this along the way.

Platinum has a nice Purple look to it on a Frog.

Oh one last thing to note.
Platinum Boots, Mantle and Skirt are >140.

I was making Boots, Mantle, Skirt, and Bracer (bracer is known 142). It did not say that could not advance @140. Even so, I didn't get skill while making those pieces for my suit. Problem is I got two skill ups while making the already known bracers... so I can't say if the Boots, Mantle, and Skirt are 141 or 142 since I passed them. Sorry.
