I have a smithing skill of 122.
I was going to try to skill up on Elemental metals, as it is listed that Molten, Immaculate, etc., bits are trivial at like 188 (<= 188 for Immaculate, and <=140something for Molten, dunno from Air or the Ecian Ice from Water, did not look the trivials up here).
I used a Molten brick and a chisle, and with a 122 skill, I got a "You can no longer advance my skill from making this item" message".
It returned 3 molten bits.
