While researching some Necro spells last night, I attempted the spell Shadow Sight. It's trivial level is currently listed at <=89. My research skill was a 71 when I attempted (successfully) the combine and I got the message "You can no longer advance your skill..." It would seem you can revise the trivial to <=71 until someone finds the actual.
