The recipe is a single words of the ethereal. Recipe in DB has it listed as 2, with "Note: only requires ONE words of the Ethereal." Huh? It should be listed as just one.

The recipe only lists one component -- Words of the Ethereal. I don't know much about research, but shouldn't it also have a parchment and quill, at least?
If not, I believe this would make it the first single-item combine! =)
Allakhazam's doesn't list the recipe at all, though a comment below the spell states, "This requires Words of Ethereal to research. Thats it."

OK... this is just a minor quirk in how the EQ Traders Data Entry form is constructed to work.
Because 99.9% of all the recipes require at least TWO components, the form is built to prevent a web based entry to put in a recipe with a single item.
Ngreth, through a straight SQL query to the database (not the DB Entry form) needs to modify those few recipes that have a single recipe component. I put them in with two of the items required, with a note stating that you only need ONE for the recipe to work.
I have to make this change when there is an updated report on the Trivial of those recipes.
As for this being the "first"... not really. There are some Baking Recipes that allow you to slice a Wedding Cake, or a Birthday Cake in an oven, by itself.
