Xakra Dat no rent armor

Has anyone ever solved this riddle of this no rent armor?.
I currently am playing a 19th Troll beastlord so am hunting back and forth between hollowshade, shadeweavers and The Warrens. I was considering dropping Shadeweavers out of the rotation since I have completed the 'cloak' quest.
The reason being, I am currently wearing a combination of my Troll quest armor, mixed with a few pieces of the Shadeweavers and one or 2 pieces of studded. However, if the Xakra Dat is workable it would provide some minor AC upgrades in addition to some Shak Dratha still providing xp, not to mention silk and the other miscellaneous drops.
Hopefully I put this in the right place??? I would have asked in the smithing thread but wasn't sure it is entirely accurate.
Any and all information would be appreciated.

I've seen no inforation on this, except for a vague hint in the frostweaver's shield quest. My current theory is that Xakra Dat armor can be smithed together with Bloodling Armor in a manner similar to the way Shaded Hopperhide armor is made with the Xakra Kel armor. The primary factors limiting further research are: Rarity of bloodling carapaces, rarity and NO RENT nature of Xakra Dat armor, and possible catalysts for the "spirit anchor" other than just the hammer and anvil (and which of the 3 hammers?!) I hope to get around to doing more research on this eventually, but strikes me as just one more peice of evidence that luclin was barely half finished at release.

Somebody told me that it could be used to take tailoring to 250, but I've never seen that verified anywhere.

Lone, I think that's the Xakra Kel and Shaded hopperhid you are thinking of. For a while I ran a mule that stood up all night and day when I wasnt playing that held a few parts of that stuff, didnt want to just throw it. But with Prexus crashing every few weeks...

My theory was that it was combinable with the Holpa Mak armor that drops from the Gor Taku in the warlord end of the tunnels. The item lore of the Holpa Mak armor is "Rank Two Anchor, Stone Studded Leather XXXX" (see here) I have several pieces of this armor, but it is not tagged as Tradeskill.

There is also "Makilu" armor that drops off the Shak Dratha with an item lore of "Rank Two Spirit Anchor, Malachite Plated XXXX" (see here)

If I remember correctly, the Makilu armor drops in the tunnels off of the Shak Dratha with a slightly larger model(bruisers, builders etc) in the end of the tunnels with the Warlord, rather than the smaller guys at the Pal Caverns end of the tunnel system. The Holpa Mak drops from the Gor Taku in a similar fashion. I have a decent collection of the Holpa Mak armor, but have never gotten a Xakra Dat drop that matched the pieces I had at the time, so have never really gotten to try combines.

I was lucky enough to get a no rent Xakra Dat cloak, a Xakra Kel cloak, and forge a Bloodling Plate Cloak all in the same session. I've done the Shar Vahl smithing quests to the point where I had a Luclinite Hammer and a Vah Shir Anvil (is that the right name?). The following are all Does Not Combine combos using these items:

This rules out the Bloodling Plate as the match to the Xakra Dat in my mind, unless it requires a different Vah Shir smithing hammer than the Luclinite. Loda Kai is another unlikely candidate simply because it also drops in Shadeweaver's Thicket, and like Xakra Dat, is also comparable to Banded Mail.

The most likely combine partner for the Xakra Dat still sounds like the Holpa Mak/Makilu, especially since they identify explicitly as spirit anchors. Here's hoping we can find the right stuff to try out the combine and solve this puzzle once and for all.

Good luck with this. I tried everything I could think of, and others did as well, probably six months to a year ago, and we never could find any way to make the Shak Dratha No Rent armor stick like you could the Xakra Kel.

I think, truely, that Railina is correct. If she isn't, well, for my own remaining sanity, I have moved on to other pursuits, like killing innocent Griffons.

PS If I remember right, we tried using many different combos along with the Val Shir Hammer and Anvil. My guess is if you do eventually figure it out, it will be about as worthless as the bloodling armor.

Seriously, besides this, there are next to no luclin baking recipies... still would like to be able to bake many of the foods sold in Shar Vahl....

Or for that matter brew some of the beverages...

And no Vah Shir cultural armour? The Vah Shir may not follow any diety, but they honour the spirits, and the spirits listen....
