  • Reminder - Old Spell Changes

Didnt see the following changes in the patch notes, but did see a few of the other changes mentioned, so thought Id repost these here in case a dev happens to be browsing the boards.

The following Spell's recipies are using Ameliorating Thickener (Single Target Instant Heal) when they shouldnt be:
    • Spell: Seduction of Saryrn - Necro Lich, should be buff. Replace with Invigorating Thickener
    • Spell: Pact of Hate - Necro Lich, should be buff. Replace with Invigorating Thickener
    • Spell: Dark Possession - Necro Lich, should be buff. Replace with Invigorating Thickener

With the agreement that Lev spells use Ink of Xeony the following spells their recipie changed:
    • Spell: Flight of Eagles - Add Ink of Xeongy

With the agreement that Illusions spells use Ink of the Eagle the following spells their recipie changed:
    • Spell: Illusion Froglok - Replace Ink of the Nameless with Ink of the Eagle
    • Spell: Night's Dark Terror - Add Ink of the Eagle

Lich Spells are fine as they already contain Ink of the Eagle for the ultravision portion, and 1 ink of eagles can exist for several vision effects.

Interesting, Because Dead Men Floating uses 2 Ink of Xegony (Air pets/ Effects) when it already has the group effect covered by Talisman Thickener.

I would also Argue that Ink of Eagle should be required twice. Once for Illusion effect, and once for Vision Effect.

Several spells have a magic resist according to Lucy but use ink additive of the nameless.

      No problem with it though.

It uses 2 Inks of Xegony because it has 2 "Air" effects , Lev and water breathing:

        Dead Men Floating
1: Water Breathing(2) (Ink of Xegony)
        2: See Invisible(1)
        3: Levitate(2) (Ink of Xegony)
        7: Increase Poison Resist by 65 (L45) to 70 (L50)

From the text of Systematic Spell Research Volume Six :

Ink of the Eagle is used for spells that effect vision. This one ink can account for multiple vision effects on the same spell.
This is the only Ink that I know of that had that stipulation in the original manuals.

If thats the case you sould point them out, depending on the spell the recipe could be "incorrect". If a spell can be resisted, then it shouldnt be using Ink Additive of the Nameless.
