Was curious if anyone can confirm these items still exist in the game? I've been looking for 100% weight-reducing containers with unique inventory icons and this one is definitely unique.

I am 95 percent sure they still drop, just that not many hunt in CT these days.

They are very very very rare.

I have a friend who farms there all the time and has seen only a few
drop in 3 months time of living there.

I have look for them in the bazaar all the time so far I have managed to
buy 4 in about 5 months.

I made a tae ew hide sack for kicks. Aside from me I know of only one
other person on the server who has this bag. Its a neat bag but not worth
the time for most.

Yeah, they exist. They can rarely drop off browns (Thul Tae Ew), and from spawned mobs during gnome escort maze event. Neither is going to be killed by farmers, most of whom hang by ZI.

I was lucky enough to find 2 in the bazaar a couple month ago, and I made a bag with em. I have yet to see another one.
And back in the time when I was XPing a lot in CT, absolutly none droped.

havent seen one for sale in 5 months and just saw one for sale in bazaar form 10k today.. har har

I camped the brown lizards in 4C, looted two hides, and made a bag. They didn't seem too rare.

There was a time when I would save these to make either pants or a bag. I could sell either for about 40-45k, and rather quickly at that. Now, the pants are not selling nearly as well as they used to. I presume this is due to items of near/equal/greater value that are much easier to get with OoW. However, since I do not play anything other than a rogue, I really don't know. I have seen the pants for sale for about 20k recently, sometimes less. So, anymore, I just make the bags. I haven't made one since the drop of pants (the price!!), but I personally think the bag price will not have suffered nearly so much.

The 8-slot leatherfoot backpack is 100% wt reduction and certainly unique:



But not sure if unique enough to lose 2 slots.

edit: oh btw, 4c is good source of brown lizards but there's another in CT. I ran over to verify and got a flawless tae ew hide off third brown one. Crude map:



The hallway just before the huge area is nice. No roamers and with the turns the casters are forced to come on a pull due to line of sight. To get there, run in to the courtyard from zonein. Instead of taking the door on the left to go to throne area, take the door on the right and follow the hallway until you pass a smaller open area of raptors, then you'll come to a large open area with lizards and a large temple (mud temple?). Green ones occasionally spawn in place of brown ones. Was about 7 brown ones up in pet pulling range when I got there tonight.

edit: drop rate isn't too bad. Was there a few hours and got a couple flawless hides. Levanted to zonein and killed a few for bloods and have another tae ew bag in a night's work. Ironically my first bag took 6 months to get the parts when CT was a popular xp spot.
