What would you want supplied in the bazaar?

Just wondering what all of you fine {tradeskillers} out there would love to see in demand in your bazaar. Any information would be great.

Unfortunately I am going to decline to answer your questions.

Firstly, it has been asked before, many times. A search will turn those threads up.
Second, I don't particularly want to see the items I buy in the bazaar go up in price because there is a larger demand then thought. Conversely I also don't want people trying to muscle in on my markets

But at the same time, if there is a higher supply of these items prices might decline.....I tend to not charge over what is reasonable for these items.

What would i like to see?

Lower prices on tradeskill items and dropable upgrades for my gear.

(Check my magelo to see that there isnt anything dropable thats an upgrade for me at any price.... (cept on Firiona Vie)).

Id also like to see red smears on the wall where the pulpy remains of some idjit who started a casino now reside.

Id also like to see more naked female Barbarians and Vah Shir bouncing around.

When can i expect delivery?

There was a reason that I asked in individual forum for their input, part of it was to see what people used for skill ups (this is for my personal use for skilling up) and second to ask what you guys would want more of (and no i dont charge outrageous prices, i know how you feel and i refuse to pay more then 3 pp for spiderling silks, 15 pp for paddings, and 5 pp for lq pelts, these items are all usually way over priced. I typically sell at a price that is reasonable as i understand the pains of the tradeskiller (especially the old schoolers) so maybe next time before flaming me, maybe realize that i am trying to bring more materials at cheaper prices into the bazaar....the concept of farming is my cost is nothing except time, and i sell for pure profits.

If you want to know what people do to skill up....read the many threads already posted, read the guides people have created on skill up paths, look at the recipes in the database, and also, try it yourself.

Doing these things will also allow you to understand what tradeskillers are looking for in the bazaar...especially if you skill up, you will know what drives you crazy and what you wish you could buy in the bazaar, for reasonable prices.

Let me give you a few very common examples:

spider silk or silk swatches
spiderling silk or silk threads
shadeling silk or shadeling silk thread
low quality cat, wolf & bear pelts (or turn them into leather padding with those silk threads, to save smiths the extra step)
low quality rockhopper hides (again - make into leather padding with shadeling silk threads, & save smiths a few clicks)
high quality, superb & flawless rockhopper hides
bricks & blocks & small pieces of velium
velium studs/boning
bricks & blocks & small pieces of acrylia
acrylia studs & boning
foraged components for dyes (for Loy ribbons) or tempers (for LDoN armor)

The reasons you are getting negative reactions is that you could have found this information for yourself, and posting the same request in all the individual forums is a big no-no.

Personally, I make no judgements, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to sell things in the bazaar, I sell to fellow tradeskillers myself, and try to keep my prices reasonable. But I gathered my own information, I didn't ask anyone to give it to me.

Here's another tip - search for 'vendor mining' threads, things that people are thrilled to find on vendors are probably a good item to farm. The thread in PSR called "amusing inventory totals" - probably some good info in there, since whatever tradeskillers hoard, they or others might be willing to buy, at reasonable prices.

Now, a warning to everyone else - remember the rules or prepare to be sat on. And joking about 'red smears on walls' is not appropriate, either

Simply put due to lack of time during the school week i get maybe 20-30 mins to do this sort of research and on weekends I spend a large portion of my time with my gf, as many of you EQ guys can understand. This leaves me with maybe 4-8 hours depending on her schedule and mine that I can actually play. I simply asked these questions to try and get an update, since the last such tread was long before GoD and possibly even LDoN. Sorry that it is such an inconvenience. Guess I am just spoiled on my servers willingness to be helpful.

Realize that a rather sizeable amount of tradeskillers would rather NOT have A_random_farmer01 farming up supplies of items they are trying to farm themselves and thus save cash on. For example, Leather Padding sits on my server's bazaar for, on average, 40 plat each. That's 800 plat. Now compare that to taking a short amount of time farming Silk Threads and LQ Hides. I don't know how you make money, but it is far less annoying for me to take 30 minutes to farm up a stack of each than it is to farm up 800 plat and then see if someone else has some Padding in stock. Depending on the bazaar causes me to be dependent on someone *else's* time, which is extremely irritating. My farming means I pretty much have a guarantee as to how many Paddings I have available, provided that someone else is not there interfering.

If you want to learn to skill up, click on the "Learn a Skill" link on the main page and leaf through. Alternately, go to a tradeskill recipe page and click on the "trivial" link to organize the recipes by lowest trivial. Everything is already on a platter if you take the time to look. Thus people being asked to hand the siliver platter to you tend to be quite annoyed. On top of that, making a rude remark insinuating that people are rude for not helping you after a statement that gives the reader the impression that your time is more important than their time is REALLY not going to help you.

I tend to sell the paddings for 25 pp each on my server while current average is upwards of 50 to 60 pp per. I am there to make a small profit off something I can do when I am waiting for the random groups to grab me. If I were interested in making thousands of pp A i would not be selling tradeskill stuff from luclin, oldworld, god and low level pop eras. and b, i would not be playing a ranger.... No pet means summoning mobs are a bear for us. I have worked two characters to 191 bakers, two characters to 150's in jewelcrafting, and many others, inclduing a 200 in brewing. These were all done pre-GoD

If that is all you want, then you will be pointed to "Celestial Essence" for what to make. It's cheap, it's no fail, and a lot of recipes need thousands of them. It is never not in demand, and the simplicity of the recipe plus the thousands of clicks you make keeps the prices on it stable.

Your situation moderates the question and it's intent not one whit. Sorry but if you don't post it in the first post we neither know nor care about your individual situation. And if you post it in the first post no one will bother to read all of it and you will get no replies. Not fair, but find the person who told you life, let alone EQ, was fair and *glances over his shoulder looking at the mods* ... show them the error of their belief.

Now the question. "What can I farm cheap and fast for a huge profit from tradeskillers?"

Right? That's your question in plain-speak isn't it?

Now, consider for yourself just how OFFENSIVE, IMPERTANENT, RUDE and SELFISH such a question is in a TRADESKILLER FORUM and you might begin to understand why you are being flamed.

But I'll play along and say what you should concentrate on providing the bazaar market.

Whatever you think is overpriced.

Buddy: Ok, Celestial Essence... don't really want to sell it, 30pp each.

(And yes, AFTER the tradeskill interface went live my buddy's CE stock sold out, and he continues to sell stack after stack at 25-40 plat each. No not each stack, EACH.)
