There are two pieces you need for every javelin that you make, the head and the shaft.

Note: for any given combine that requires a planing tool, file or smithy hammer they are returned on both a failure and a success.

Steel

To make the steel heads you first need to make small bricks of high quality steel.

Small Brick of High Quality Steel (forge)
high quality carbon dust (sold by merchants who sell high quality ore)
small brick of REFINED high quality ore (sold by merchant who sell high quality ore)
gnomish heat source x3

Once you get these the recipes are:

Javelins

You cannot mix and match the two basic types (longflight and war javelin) when making these. However, you can mix and match quality (runic vs non, steel vs regular) in any sort of combination you want.This section isn't quite done yet since I haven't tried all possible combinations, so will add the trivials once I get all of them. You can combine them in either a forge or a fletching kit, using a planing tool in the kit, file in the forge. Not sure if the trivial is any different in the forge, either so the number listed is the fletching trivial.
