  • Tradeskilling Question

Is there a list of extremely high level combines in all skills that can be attempted without having a minimum skill level or some sort of flag?

Like for instance, can you attempt a Otherworld Earring at 0 skill?

Reason I ask, if you had a list of high level combines like this, and say you gather up enough combines to do say 20 of each. Start at 0. Then use the Draught of the Craftsmen, it might be a fun way to level your skill up.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I use to be heavy in trade skills from 99 to 2007. But have only played EQ on and off since (currently playing again)

If a required minimum skill has been reported or is known, it's noted on the recipe.

    For example: http://www.eqtraders.com/items/show_...r=035000000000

In this example, that's a "modified" minimum skill, whereas most other notations are an "unmodified" minimum skill (equipping a trophy).

This is certainly one way you can try to skill up, but what's usually the path for "fast" skilling up is to pick a recipe that is both high trivial and easy-ish to source. For example, Broiled Raxil fish can be a brute force recipe to raise your baking on. You just have to go and fish for a long time to get enough of them to push through. Kaladim Constitutionals might be another way to achieve brewing - you just have to have the patience to collect thousands of mushrooms in Kaladim.

The guides usually include some hint as to how achievable some of these are

Aanuvane Bristlecone - Druid - Povar via Quellious via Rodcet Nife
AKA Muertenie, Melodee, Orelinde, Nounie, Gnomess, Cininea Ashryn, Mairede or a host of additional alts. Maybe also be found on Rabon, Kynsh or Atracker.
