I went to Pellucid out of curiosity and the idea of picking up a few branches to save time later. I could find no branches in the Cliknar area.

Are you only able to see/find them if you have the task?

You or someone in your group must have the task active and get the emote to spawn the branches.

Can anyone confirm that the Effects on the Shawl's are working? I finished my 7th shawl and have yet to see it fire on 6th or 7th in any of my logs. I have focus effects filtered on and was hoping to see something about Your Blessed Serilis Prayer Shawl glows, or brightens, or shimmers etc. Nothing, and I haven't noticed a rune proc on me yet (but it might have proced and worn off quickly for all I know. Could it be under another filter? I would have assumed focus effect filter should all I need to have on to find that it is fireing.

Put in an audio trigger for "by Brell's", that should go off every time your shawl procs.

yeah i am finally wearing shawl 6, i went to test out the heal proc and it doesn't give an emote for focus, it works like a weapon or innate proc, with my worn gear it's a 533 heal.... not sure of the rune on shawl 7 yet tho

Tank rune is for 750. DPS melee proc is a heal for 450 and +30 damage for the next 10 hits. I think the melee proc is currently bugged and won't be fixed until the next patch.

Ya, I finally found it yesterday after doing some tests in the arena. Tank rune is 500 hp according to Lucy , and has a 1min duration (or untill you use up the 500 hp absorb) Not sure if it has any agro increasing side effect like melee rune procs do atm, but stacks with all runes from what I can tell so far, atleast it stacks with vie, rune V, and Malarian skin for SK's.

I believe the procs will be fixed/improved next patch. I heard 750 rune for tanks, 450 heal +30 damage for 10 swings for melee. This may have referred to the eighth shawl, however.

So when I failed a combine on the Pottery one, I was able to get my items back by saying replace to the Quest giver. Is that true for all the quests, or only the pottery one?

Note during the shawl walk: sometimes the robot responds to Start and sometimes he responds to Continue. If one of the commands doesn't work, try the other one.

That is only with the pottery combine or where specified. Sometimes it will say you can ask him for additional patterns or whatnot, but when I failed parts in tailoring I had to go farm more supplies.

To my knowledge, that was never put in. They simply made the item the best item for its slot in the game.

You will have to do the shawl walk again. Say "Reset" to the clockwork. I am unsure if you also need another ingot of Brells Silver though.

Again thanks to EQTraders and all you wonderful people I was able to try my walk last night. Again thanks to my wonderul guild Enigma Halcyon on Cazic-Fennin. We had a very good go at it until we came to last test spot when I crashed to desktop. Sent the report in about the crash and they very nicely gave me a Silver back.

The pathing by the NPC has improved greatly and we would have won. Next time we will and I will add on when we do.


Sept 18 did the walk again and no problems with pathing but again I crashed to desktop. I had just "stopped" the mob and when I came back in he was still there. One other person also crashed. We finished the walk, I got my piece and did combination no prblems.

Ok for the fool to come after me, Allah's doesn't even list Brewmeister Steigl for task not 3 but 4. He IS listed on Rasper's map in RED, as in a named to kill. You gotta clear his room, hail, then say Sacred Cask of Brell, wherein 6 adds spawn, a coldain brewer. Brewmeister isn't attackable until all are dead. They'll only agro the person to speak the trigger, so if you can kill fast enough, and get the trigger person out of agro you can reclear the room of the adds and take him down, but it's gotta be a fast kill.

OR you need a very handy Enchanter.

You don' thave to clear his room, hailing him depops the room and pops the brewers. Can FD, or coh out, or just simply die and drag out of room and get rezed then kill them one by one. But need to kill themBrewmeister Steigl fairly fast else it will reset on you.

Advice please about Brewmeister Steigl and the Brewer adds. Can any of these be mezzed, rooted, snared? How resistant are they? Any knowlge of hitpoints? In other words, what tactics should be used?

The adds are about the same difficulty as standard trash mobs. When I did that part, we had the chanter get a mezz off and the MT just picked one. Killed them all off and then killed Brewmeister. Was a single group type event.
