Fletching AAAGGGHHH!!!

By far this skill is taking me the longest to get to 300.

Did about 80 combines with treant branches and no skill ups. Then another 60 with 1 (or 2 I forget now).

Finally got a decent amount of sunshard ore and lo and behold a total of over 100 combines and only 3 skill ups.

At 293 now and still pulling my hair out.

No I was not in guild hall or guild lobby. Did some combines in Buried Sea, some in Felwithe and most in POK.

Well I will be back to post when I finally get that last 7 points done. In the mean time, in between time, that's it another rant completed.

another 56 combines of glowing energeiac bows and not another skill-up...wow fletching is something probably never use but i want that elusive 300!!!

And Sunshard ore is so cheap to come by these days that as long as you don't fail alot it isn't too painful. Though every failure is like 1500 plat lost. I had more money than time when I was running it up. hehe

As for sunshard ore being cheap...well average in bazaar on Fennin is 65plat, not so cheap I think.

Set up a buyer. Buy it for 20pp. You'll get hundreds. Check to see if someone else is buying and set your price 5pp higher if it is over 20pp. I still have like 2000 ore. I had to quit buying it and i was paying 25pp for it I htink.

Thanks for the treant branches Elyssanda. As for putting a buyer up in bazaar...well that didn't get me many sunshard ore. Had friends give me quite a few. Any way....160 combines (branches and glowing bows) later and 1(one) yes one skill up. Sitting at 296 now and getting so frustrated and now have to wait to do more till I get a good amount of sunshard ore.

I don't know what class you play but... There is that marketplace thing that changes your race/religon. Perhaps you could change to wood elf or Karana to make things faster/cheaper.

I have not and hopefully will never purchase anything from marketplace (personal reasons). Also really wouldn't want to change just to get those last 4 points.

fletching. por bows are cheap enough. you can farm parts in low level zones ( horses in tak or elddar forest for hooves, tob if you can handle it and pick up horse meats and powder of ro while at it) and branches can be foraged or killed for in elddar, tak and blightfire moors. thats where I farmed branches - blightfire moors. the trees in the bog there are quite low level. I even maxxed trophies on 2 toons before i got too tired of it.

Uuvin, that is exactly the route poor Cini is taking. hopefully by now she has it maxed.. but she may have taken a break from it due to frustration.

yes you are right...I took a break from doing any fletching at all. I have a couple of weeks off work coming up soon so hopefully in that period I will get the fletching maxed.
