Alas, real life has once again stolen away enough of our data entry volunteers that it's time to recruit! We need people who are:
Very basic skill at writing HTML would be dandy, too, but isn't required.
The perfect candidate would be someone who's active in the EQTC community as well, and has been a member for a long time (as that shows you're familiar with how our site and forums work), but neither is a strict requirement.
The work we need is updating things from the Database Update Submissions forum into the EQTC database. It's generally straightforward work, adding mobs (critters and vendors), items, and recipes, but can be surprisingly tricky given the way our database works and the many quirks in tradeskills in general. We know it's tricky and are very happy to help you get the hang of it, but you need to be willing to carefully read through the heap of information we provide and ask questions if you still have them. We could also use folks to help put guides and quests on the site, which is the bit that requires some HTML. We're happy to help there, too, but familiarity with the most basic tags would be ideal.
There is no financial compensation, but you do get a spiffy custom title! We are a volunteer site, so there's no fixed time requirements or commitments, but please don't apply if you just want the boards title and don't intend to help out with the data.
If you are interested please send me a PM. I'll talk to folks over the next few days, as PM's come in!

Alas, real life has once again stolen away enough of our data entry volunteers that it's time to recruit! We need people who are:
- Familiar with the basic workings of tradeskills in Everquest
- Familiar with the policies of EQTC, both the site and message board
- Willing to volunteer at least a few hours a week, especially right after new expansions
- At least vaguely familiar with databases and good at figuring out new software (or complicated websites)
- Extremely attentive to detail - obsession with perfection would be fabulous, as long as you're okay with being overruled
- Willing to spend a LOT of time at first learning our system and double checking yourself to extremes
Very basic skill at writing HTML would be dandy, too, but isn't required.
