21blocks of steel with out fail?

i am more interested in the list as the result of the final combines of smithing
feel free to edit my list

5 poxysmith casing 1 will always be made of hq steel sheets other 4 variate upon the type of box(as also everything else does)( 4per=20)
    1 display panel (1)
    3 sheets of steel(2per 6)
4 large sheets of steel( 3per is 12)
and im counting 39 blocks of steel
above someone said 63blocks of ore but the way they break down is 1block ore =2large ore , 3large steel= 1blockstelel making 63 blocks of ore only 32blocks of steel which means you need another 12blocks of ore
again correct me if im wrong.

Large Brick of HQ Steel = Large Brick of Refined HQ Ore + 6 Gnomish Heat Source + 3 HQ Carbon Powder
Large Brick of Golden HQ Steel = Large Brick of Refined HQ Ore + 3 GHS + 3 HQCP + 3 Gold Bar
Large Brick of Opal HQ Steel = Large Brick of Refined HQ Ore + 3 GHS + 3 HQCP + 3 Opal

Block = 3 Large Bricks + (3 GHS for HQ Steel, or 2 GHS for Golden/Opal HQ Steel)

Convert 42 Blocks to make the following:
Scrindite's Mechanoinstruction Reader = 1 Poxysmit's Gearbox Casing = 4 Small HQ Steel Plates = 4 Blocks of HQ Steel (for AAAA, AGAA, AOAA)
        4 Large [Golden/Opal] Steel Plates (3 blocks per plate) = 12 Blocks
        3 [Golden/Opal] Steel Plates (2 blocks per plate) = 6 Blocks
        4 Poxysmit's [Golden/Opal] Gearbox Casing = 16 Small [Golden/Opal] Steel Plates = 16 Blocks
        3 Poxysmit's [Golden/Opal] Gearbox Top = 3 Small [Golden/Opal] Steel Plates = 3 Blocks
        1 Ambleshift's [Golden/Opal] Display Panel Front Plate = 1 Small [Golden/Opal] Steel Plate = 1 Block

AAAA = 42 Blocks of HQ Steel + 1 Large Brick of HQ Steel (for HQ Latch and 2 HQ Hinges) = 127 Large Bricks of HQ Steel
AGAA = 4 Blocks of HQ Steel + 1 Large Brick of HQ Steel + 38 Blocks of Golden HQ Steel = 13 Large Bricks of HQ Steel + 114 Large Bricks of Golden HQ Steel
AOAA = 4 Blocks of HQ Steel + 1 Large Brick of HQ Steel + 38 Blocks of Opal HQ Steel = 13 Large Bricks of HQ Steel + 114 Large Bricks of Opal HQ Steel

              Revised shopping list for AOAA

Updated tynk's post for AOAAs. All numbers are what you need per box, and they do not include failed combines.

When I make these boxes, I first convert all the HQ ore into Large Bricks: 127 Large Bricks needed per box. That number is not divisible by 3 (for making Blocks), but it's because the last Large Brick is later down-converted via Smithing Chisel to 4 Small Pieces. 127 Large Bricks per box also makes it easier for me to figure out how many boxes I can make with the ore supplies on hand.

Gnomish Heat Source: buy 508 of these (20 stacks of 25 GHS + 1 stack of 8 GHS). 84 are used to make the 4 HQ Steel Blocks, 6 are used for the lone Large Brick of HQ Steel, and the remaining 418 are used for Opal HQ Steel Blocks.

High Quality Carbon Powder: straightforward calculation, 3 per Large Brick, so buy 381 of these (3 stacks of 100 HQCP + 1 stack of 81 HQCP).

Opal: for each AOAA you need 38 Blocks of Opal HQ Steel, so buy 342 of these (3 stacks of 100 Opal + 1 stack of 42 Opal).

Combine Tools: (assuming you have already made/bought these)
              Smithing Hammer
Smithing Chisel (convert Blocks of HQ ore to Large Bricks, and to convert 1 Large Brick of HQ Steel twice to 4 Small Pieces of HQ Steel)
              File
              Planing Tool
              Skinning Knife
              Gem Cutter

              Other storebought parts:
              • Poison Vial x 4
              • Celestial Essence x 2
              • Emerald x 1
              • Ruby x 17
              • Vegetables x 1 (or 1 each of Carrot, Lettuce, Turnip via Mixing Bowl)
              • Platinum Bar x 4
              • Water Flask x 5, plus whatever you need to convert Small Bricks of HQ ore to Large Bricks of HQ ore (conversion rate: 3 small bricks:1 flask)
              • Platinum Thread x 2
              • Gears x 6
              • Mana Battery Class Six x 1
              • Metal Shaft x 1
              • Jar of Acid x 2
              • Latch Mold x 1
              • Hinge Mold x 2

              Dropped gems:
              • Blue Diamond x 3
              • Diamond x 1

              DoDH-specific parts:
              • Corathus Entrails x 2 (see notes)
              • Shadowmane Pelt (also drops in Loping Plains)
              • Shiliskin Bones
              • 1 of each Glowgem, Glowrock, and Glowstone (also drops in Underfoot zones)

              Plane of Innovation:
              • Innovative Clockwork Gears x 1
              • Coiled Spring x 1

              SoF zones:
(Mech Guardian's regular 6-hour instance is perfect for farming these. MG missions have limited mobs with no respawn, don't do those.)
              • Clockwork Gear x 1
              • Clockwork Gnome Bolts x 5
              • Clockwork Gnome Gear x 2
              • Clockwork Gnome Shaft x 2
              • Clockwork Gnome Spring x 1
              • Clockwork Pinion Gear x 7
              • Small Clockwork Screws x 1
              • Small Clockwork Shaft x 2
              • Tiny Clockwork Shaft x 9

              Notes:
              1. Do not underestimate the trivial skill for Epicthieck's Power Belt. The failure rate on this combine (with max Tailoring skill + max trophy + max TS AAs) is very high, honestly it makes the failure rates of UF+ cultural combines look good. Expect to use 3 Corathus Entrails per box instead of 2.
              2. If you make Blocks by stacks of 20 instead of the 127 Large Bricks above, use the following for the Gnomish Heat Source step: each HQ Steel Block requires 21 GHS; each Opal HQ Steel Block requires 11 GHS. Each Large Brick of HQ Steel requires 6 GHS.
              3. 4 Small Pieces of HQ Steel = 1 HQ Latch + 2 HQ Hinges, with one left over in the case of combine failure on this step.
              4. Mucktail Gnolls are nice and easy for Unrefined ore bricks, alternatively you can get them from any gnoll in Blackburrow (SoD), with Chronal Dusts being the bonus to farming there.
              5. Like the Power Belt, you can fail on the final combine on making the box itself. The good news is it's a lot less often than the Belt. The bad news? If the RNG hates you, that's a lot of cash down the drain.
