    Calculator Update

    Is there any chance of seeing an update to the calculator in the near future now that the skill cap has been raised?

    I loved that calculator for determining success chance on aug cutting back when max skill was a modified 252. Now that I am at 296 (with trophy) I'm dying to see how much difference all those rather expensive skillups made (about 74 k so far).

    I tried it just now and it still caps at 252.

    I got some indication that tradeskill enhancement devices will increase over 300, is this true?

    It's been confirmed that people with skill 300 and a 5% mod have a modified skill of 315. As of yet, I haven't seen reports from people with 300 skill and a >5% mod, so it's not yet known for sure if there's an artificial cap like 252 was.

    Found a bug in the calculator.

    Skill = 268, 5% mod, trivial 335, prime stat 325.
    Medium difficulty, mastery 2.
    EDIT: I also checked "can use an alternate stat", but it seemed to have no effect either way. The bug still appeared.

    The calculator reports the correct adjusted skill and chance of success (at least, it looks right; I didn't actually calculate by hand). However, it reports zero chance of a skillup on success, fail, and overall, which is clearly incorrect.

    OK, I poked around a bit with the calculator. It still sees 250 as the max skill. If your skill is 250 or higher, it defaults to a zero percent chance of a skillup.

    Incidentally, when you submit the form, the menu on the left changes to highlight the search, rather than the calculator.
