    300 Bakers sound off!

    W00t. I hit 300 baking today. Good news for all tradeskillers is that 300 is only a soft cap. Trophys could very well be useful beyond the first one finally. I will be verifying this as soon as I make my Baking trophy. All new "Master Chefs" feel free to soundoff 8o).

    I started off with jewelcraft & tailoring. Jewelcraft is at 286 and tailoring at 257. Jewelcraft suddenly gets tough at about 282 skill -- no more easy store bought combines that you resell for the majority of plat spent. Tailoring? Well it's always a pain, who am I kidding. Brewing to 256 or so, Fletching to 251. Haven't messed with MTP's since the mule I use for that is stocked up with gem studded chains and ceremonial solstice robes at the moment. Soon enough, though, I'll get stuck on the other stuff and turn to the ever friendly misty thicket picnics.

    OMG! Those lousy ....... Trophies have been reduced from a 10% mod to a 5%... EXACTLY the same mod on Geerloks. I found out AFTER I made my baking trophy. /rude SOE.

    I thought they always were +5%, they are listed that way on this site anyway. Is that a new change?

    Yep, got 300 earlier today. GM Trophys have always been 5%
    300 - Baking, Brewing, Pottery, Smithing, Jewelcraft
    285 - Fletching
    282 - Tailoring
    Fishing 200, Research 200

    Got to 300 in bakeing yesterday, People in pok and the bazaar where so stuffed on misty's they told me to bugger off. I was handing the stuff out for free and no one wanted any more.

    Trophies NEVER had a 10% mod, they were always 5%, exacly like the geerlocks.

    Last night I admitted in guild chat I was a Master Baker...and I was promptly told not to master bake in public. Did MTPs exclusively from 250-300.

    300 Baking as of this afternoon. I didnt even have to farm anything of buy in tha bazaar, since I had plenty of Brownie Parts and Fruit on one of my mules.

    300 baking + 5% (geerlok or trophy) = what skill?
    Is there another cap that lets effective skill only go up to 302 or something dumb like that?

    Got to 251 on 4 tormentor stirfrys then went 251-300 on 860 picnics combines. wis capped at 330 but atleast 20 over it if that matters which i don;t think it does.

    I dinged 300 last night. Did picnics all the way. Prepared 900 combines and dinged at about 800 or so, hard to tell having Salvage 3. Done with WIS at 330.
